A wonderful historic Kirk. A place of worship for our Queen when she resides at Balmoral. I believe the current Kirk built around 1806. There has been a Kirk in immediate area since 9th Century. Wonderful Minister, friendly and welcoming.

This is a beautiful small church (Kirk in Scotland) situated just outside the town of Ballater in Royal Deeside. The church is used by members of the Royal Family when in residence at Balmoral Castle which is not far away. The small graveyard is worth a look as it holds so much history going back centuries. Definitely worth a look in you are in the area and there is a car park handy..

Closed on visit. Opposite Post Office and shop/Balmoral Car Park.

Lovely Kirk right beside Balmoral castle and in the heart of royal deeside

Margaret Boudra

Nice enough kirk, shame the local paedofile, Andrew, who sometimes resides at Balmoral Castle, pretends to worship here.
