Tony Stout

Great walking area with 3 reservoirs between the Royal Hotel at Tockholes and the Hare and Hounds at Abbey Village there are walks going in different directions you can pick a short walk round one Reservoir or a longer walk round two or three as there's a circular walk joining all three. There's also an area in the wood's where charcoal is produced. The central Reservoir is used for fly fishing.

Robert Gratton

Nice area for a walk. No rubbish I could see. Dogs loved it.

Top place for walks, paths great but so much off the beaten track and always deer about

Andrew Gladwell

Lovely large deciduous woodland, surrounded by fields of sheep, will be lovely in the spring time, flowers and lambs aplenty. Also, quite near the tower on the hill, which you can incorporate on your hike. Well worth it. The reservoirs make for a nice view, the overspills were working hard today after the storm.

Roddlesworth wood. If only I could. Not be covered in mud. From the walk in this wood.
