Beautiful and serene environment. The school has different buildings that illustrate different architectural styles from different times

Dear Students, Avoid this university at all costs. I recently graduated with MSc in IT and finally escaped this torture chamber. As a foreign student, I personally corrected every lecturer on the programme. Numerous mistakes in teaching materials (MCQs, Exams, Assigments, etc). I never saw such incompetent academic staff. I made two complaints to the academic administration and even spoke with the senior management about a shameful level of the provided teaching services. Of course, they did nothing and just wasted my time. The management is only good at pretending. At this university you will face incompetent academic staff, bias marking of your works (some lecturers did not even bother to provide marks and any feedback), hellish team projects without any supervision (I had two projects when I was forced to work for the whole team) and much more. All complaints are ignored or called unwarranted. *Recommend this place only to your archenemy. A 100% guarantee of suffering. *.

Huge complex of the university buildings, in a beautiful area, near the beach and sport centre. Being just beside Old Aberdeen gives it a special, antique university feeling, yet the city centre with the shops and entertainment is only 10 minutes by bus or 25 minutes walk. A great place to start to explore Aberdeen if you're a tourist and an amazing place to study!

Beautiful medieval streets and a fabulous chapel with a soaring crown above it. Worth visiting the chapel, town house and St Machar Cathedral. The heraldic ceiling in the cathedral is amazing.
