Really polite guy, very happy with service for lifetime battery on my watch, saw him with a disabled person previously and he was incredibly courteous.

After using the St. Nicholas shop since 2010, receiving excellent service there. I went to the Union Street branch with my Casio, Protrek watch to get the batteries replaced. Showed my lifetime warranty - purchased in 2015 & was promptly told they didn’t deal with that style of watch. No explanation given

I came to the store to get my watch fixed after having had a pleasant experience the first time when staff seemed quite friendly. However, this time has been by far the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. The man who worked on the watch the previous time refused to come out from the back of the shop, whilst my queries were being answered by his colleague who was clueless about watches. After asking some questions in a polite manner, the man came from the back, told me to leave the store and tossed my watch over the counter. The man then physically charged towards me and forced me out. I was left extremely confused and threatened by the erratic behaviour of the employee and left. The lack of respect and the aggressive behaviour of staff is unacceptable for any store owner and they should feel ashamed for reacting in such a hostile manner.

Really friendly and helpful guys there, and they know their stuff. I recommend them to anyone needing any work or maintenance done with watches and I would advise you to do the same. Great service and very reasonably priced - some things they'll even do free of charge.

Like you Alan, I went to get my watch battery changed and discovered they were no longer there!! No notice to say where they were, and discovered right now - they are round the corner. Shame they did not have a notice, I have been without my watch for months now. Probably thrown away my lifetime guarantee for my watch, thinking they had closed down!!
