So nice to have dancers, pipers, and races back in the home of all Highland Games. I'll definitely be back for the "big" games next year!

Great atmosphere. Fun family event. There were a lot of stalls for food and drinks. Easy to park with a lot of volunteers helping with traffic control. The village is so pretty and friendly. The highlight of the event is you get to see the Queen up close.

What a wonderful place. Locals are very helpful and friendly. Free parking at the Highland Games Stadium. Recommend the Butchers for top notch Hagis. Nice walk up to one of the hills. Just past the fire station.

Ooops i did it again. And with me thousands of visitors from all over the world. My 2nd time that i found my way to Braemar in Aberdeenshire. Wonderful weather, great athletes, cheering folks, locals baked cakes and scones, friendly Scots everywhere and - as a tradition: H.M. the Queen this year together with Prince Charles and his wife Duchess of Cornwall. What can i say?! A wonderful event organized with so much love and heart from people of that small village in a valley of river Dee in the Cairngorms. That is tradition and scottish culture at it's best. I will be there again in 2020.

You can get a taste of the Highland games in this glorious setting. The stands and seating for Her Majesty are quite basic but the scenery and tradition is breathtaking. Display panels tell the story of the games and for a small fee you can have a game of putting ! Close to teashops and souvenir shops in the village.
