Opinions of Brechin Cathedral at (Angus)

Beautiful Cathedral and worth visiting for the history of the building and tower. Very quiet when we visited but the door was unlocked allowing us to look around inside. Remember to walk around the back of the building to see the round tower.

Nice cathedral in this small village. It was a pitty it was closed, although we went on supposedly opening hours.

Beautiful building with interesting grounds and a cheeky penguin outside!

Probably not worth a special trip on its own, the cathedral - and more importantly the round tower - is well worth a visit if you're passing. Be aware that the car park for the cathedral comes upon you VERY suddenly - there's a sign that's AT the car park and it's easy to go past without realising.

Well worth a visit when in the city. Whether in or out it compares well with other places of worship. The round tower, one of two only in Scotland is impressive.
