Fab place 20 mins walk down a track from our holiday cottage. Lovely setting for an afternoon drink on the balcony or an evening meal, food was lovely & staff very friendly. Lovely that we could take our dog with us. Fishing lakes were enjoyed by my husband - caught a lovely big trout. Golf course seemed popular & there were nice lodges you could hire to stay in but as we didn't use this I can't say more. Definitely recommend.

Incredible resort. We were fortunate enough to be guests at a wedding over the weekend at Forbes of Kingennie and were very impressed with it all. Staff were superb, attentive, friendly and organised. Food was brilliant. Very tasty, hot and served quickly. Drinks were superb value for money for a wedding venue. The venue grounds were beautiful and the function room was perfect. Overall a great day!

Lovely resort. Attended a wedding here and it was excellent. The bar was left unattended at times which I found strange, especially during a wedding. That said, excellent food, atmosphere, and pleasant staff.

Went for a wedding. Accommodation is self catering lodges, etc only. The lodge we had very basic, only one bedroom ensuite, of the other two, who had to share a bathroom, one was a very small twin with no hanging space. As a country resort there was no discount for resident guests for either the fishing or golf. There was no indoor indoor facilities such as spa, gym or swimming pool. However all in a beautiful setting.

This was my first visit here. Grounds and view from the restaurant really lovely - loved sitting watching the fish leap from the water. Lovely atmosphere with nice relaxed vibe. Staff attentive. Food is OK nothing special but would return and recommend.
