Lovely piece of history, paid for by JM Barrie, hopefully they still sprinkle pixie dust around here. Open on Saturdays Sundays and Mondays. Run by volunteers.

Small but interesting attraction and, as one of the few camera Obscuras in the country, well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the building.

Went up to the park and had a picnic...lovely area.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This place is incredible! Nothing to see other than the view from the camera but it's run solely by people of the community. People who have chosen to give up their spare time in order to keep this amazing piece of history, running a few days a week. They are knowledgeable and so friendly too!

Definitely worth a visit to one of the last remaining Camera Obscure in Scotland. Gifted to the town by J.M. Barrie, it is now operated by community volunteers and sells hot and cold drinks. So much to do close by that this makes a welcome addition to a days activities in and around Kirriemuir.
