I won't beat around the bush: this is without a doubt the best Indian food I have ever eaten. This is a must-visit restaurant, and well worth going hours out of your way for.

Order took nearly 2 hours to arrive, and eventually on delivery was told we should have ordered over the phone to get a better price. Drink was not included in delivery, so delivery driver asked if I wanted her to return to get the drink (which we ordered and paid for) and come back with it half an hour later. The curries themselves were amongst the worst my partner and I have ever had. Absolutely full of oil/grease, and a masala sweeter than a bowl of frosties. The chef told me they pan fry the garlic, and presumably pour the oil from the pan in to the curry aswell. He also assured me their masala is sweeter than most others, although this is not mentioned on the menu. If the garlic and onions (which appeared and tasted to have been caramelised) are added to the masala from a hot oil filled pan, this could explain the very sweet flavour too. The blatent and overpowering flavour was coconut, which is odd for a dish containing a reasonable amount of garlic. No offer was made to put things right or offer any form of solution out side of next time you order, order something else. Needless to say, we wouldn't order from here again - which is a shame as there are virtually no good local Indian takeaways in the area now.
