Once up the stairs, you are greeted by a well appointed restaurant with great views of the Abbey which looked especially good lit up at night. There is a separate vegan menu and you are struck immediately by the reasonable prices. The onion Bhaji to start was superb. Rather than the usual ball, they came in strips which meant they were really crispy and avoided the chickpea flour goo you sometimes get in Bhajis. The accompanying chutney was also delicious. The menu said there was kale in the bhajis and although there were flecks of green, I’m not sure it added a huge amount but that is a minor issue when the dish is so delicious. The bhel puri was a very large portion and although I enjoyed it, it could have done with some peanuts, potato and onion as is usually in the bhel puri I have had in the past. A bit more tamarind sauce would also have lifted the dish. These small issues were forgotten once the outstanding mains were tasted. The masala dosa was perfect; Crisp pancake, soft, well spiced potato interior and tasty chutney and curry sauce. The baby aubergine curry was fantastic, a subtle but rich sauce that complimented the creamy aubergine. The paratha was flakey and perfect for mopping up the outstanding sauce. An excellent meal.

Had a wonderful meal at Indian Temptation Bath on 10th December, the staff are super helpful and friendly, we had the vegetable jalfrezi of which was the best I have ever had, no stodgy sauces it was all fresh veg and spices the rice was perfect and the garlic naan were to die for. I throughly recommend this restaurant and it’s not expensive.

I was in this lovely restaurant last year with my partner. We found this place just by luck. The place is really nice and clean, staff is really friendly and the owner very passionate about his job and food in general. Food was delicious, pure vegetarian and probably one of the best meals I’ve had so far. We were so impressed that during our 4 days stay in Bath, we went again the evening after to spend my partner’s birthday there. We know that on our next trip to Bath, Indian temptation will be our stop! I’ve got only one picture of the meal I’m afraid, I was too busy tasting it!

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant with few of my friends and it was such an amazing decision. The taste in fantastic it takes you right back to India. The restaurant is vegetarian and I must say they use the freshest ingredients to make one of the best curries I have tasted in the UK. It's a must must go place to eat an amazing meal in Bath. And I really recommend non-vegetarians to try this place and I am sure it will change your perception of vegetarian food.

Such an amazing restaurant, my partner and I are both vegetarian and when we saw this restaurant we were excited to try it. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The starters were so tasty, could have eaten them as a main course as well. We were not sure what we wanted to order as mains so one of the lovely staff members recommended some dishes. They were all truly fantastic, ate everything to the point of bursting …. The thing that really made our evening were the super friendly and helpful staff. I can’t recommend this place enough, we will 100% be back next time we are in Bath. Try it, you won’t regret it
