The food was amazing. I can't fault them for the freshness of that. Although pricey I can understand why if the fish was fresh and the sushi chefs trained properly. It was so wonderfully decorated and just so nice to see something like that open for the first time in ages. I spend 115£ for 6- 7 dishes and 4 drinks... And we were two people. I was still hungry after it. Though

Amazing Asian fusion/Japanese restaurant. The staff were really friendly (although clearly busy - it took us a while to get their attention to get the bill). The food was absolutely stellar - kimchi rice was fantastic and well spiced, the teriyaki salmon was awesome and I could eat a million baos! The portions are pretty small, so you should expect to have two smaller dishes and a large dish per person, which isn't the cheapest (our meal came to £80 with a drink or two), but is totally worth the price. The bar serves a selection of cocktails and alcoholic drinks.

Nice food though a few things missing from the menu on our visit. Desserts were really excellent. The tables were a bit too packed together so right next to tables either side. Also check your bill - on ours the wine was £10 more than on the menu which would have been easily missed.

I really has high hopes for Robun but I felt it lacked the ambiance I was hoping for. The sushi was incredible however but my prawns were overcooked and it is that which gets the 3 stars. As for the rest I found it rather clinical in that the lighting was very bright and I was hoping for a more intimate setting. At the end of the day it is something that comes down to personal taste.

Very enthusiastic service, pleasant design and atmosphere and a lovely chef. We visited with an 8 year old and the attention he received was amazing. The sushi was very decent and properly sized (not tiny). Ice cream selection was good too. There was also a lot of willingness for feedback as the restaurant is in its first weeks and is still finding its way. Very highly recommended for the food and for the experience.
