I went in for a long handled brush and dryer balls. I went round the whole shop, some great bargains. Including freezer items as Iceland is in there too. TfI and Greggs food available. Really helpful staff too.

Store has recently had a large extension into the adjacent unit so is now very large. A really good overall selection and variety of products available. There’s also now a mini Iceland inside.

One of the best selections I've seen in this type of shop. Not busy and staff helpful and friendly.

Good place you can look round for a plethora of different things. Good furnishing accessories. Not quite as good as Dunelm but a good place nonetheless. Disappointed the cafe has gone - they did lovely bacon rolls!

Ok, so you're probably aware The Range underwent quite an overhaul during Summer (2021) & I think people were expecting something if a transformation? Nope. Bit disappointing this but don't be out off. The range (no pun intended!) of their departments have mostly expanded. There is far more choice in many areas- homewares, electricals, DIY, crafting, soft furnishings, kitchenware, hardware, DIY, decor etc etc. However some departments look unchanged- lighting, pets, paints etc & I was quite disappointed that the Christmas decorations looked much the same as previous years but I doubt they've rolled out the full range just yet. The big addition was an in-store Iceland (no, nothing to do with Santa, the frozen food variety) situated on the ground floor which has probably their most popular sellers but do we need yet another Iceland in Bedford? I think we now have 5-6? Plus if you shop in the Iceland section you have to go back & pay at The Range tills. When I went (Nov '21) their were just 2 cashiers serving & both queue's were 10+ people in line. Sorry but I replaced my picture pins & left especially in view of Covid still lurking invisably but worth considering. So, not living up to my expectations for a store expanding to twice its size but prices are what draw us back. Lots of Christmas goodies in all areas & plenty to look at or explore. But they need to man those tills as queue's that long are not really acceptable during this pandemic. Try going at a quiet time of day.
