From the time I first entered the clinic and until after I had my eye test today I have had exceptional courtesy shown to me by all your staff and I cannot speak highly enough of how Nala who carried out the test procedures with a real sense of professionalism and customer care. I have previously used the much larger multinationals for my eye consultations but I now have a new "home" where I feel vey comfortable to remain. I have posted a photo of myself with Nala and Caroline and I am proud to have been the first patient to do so.

Donne & Browning in name only. Now owned by Imran Hakim and is just one (according to Companies House at the time of writing) of 156 group companies. If you were a patient of either Simon Browning or Simon Donne and looking for the same experience then I would suggest you look elsewhere.

I went for my follow-up appointment today and was treated with fantastic assistance and thoughtfulness yet again, by Jane and Sophie. This is how service should be given in that lovely, old-fashioned way, taking time and care. Compared to other opticians in a large Nottingham-based company (recently bought out unfortunately!) the service in Donne and Browning is exemplary and one does not ever feel rushed. Yet again ,Simon Donne (part owner) was very thorough and solicitous with exceptional personal skills and totally the opposite of patronising, a rare quality in many practitioners, even allowing for stress/time factors. Thanks all. I have now switched to your company and would warmly recommend Donne and Browning to all, but particularly tooto folk who need time and extra support, witness those more mature customers being assisted whilst I was in the shop. Staff welcomed me like an old friend, particularly the lovely Jane, who started looking for nice but good value frames for me as soon as I asked. She's a star and always smiling! Simon Donne, as charming&polite as ever, showed me his super techno machinery, which I sat at easily for a full check, and afterwards he talked me through the amazing pictures of my eye, my retina etc He was prepared to talk me through all the pictures calmly and without condescension. I posed other questions, which he answered readily and with good humour. He is so reassuring, understanding and kind. Always an absolute professional. Susan, Practice Manager, was such fun and so clever at picking out the right frames for my face and personality! Very intuitive. She and Simon guided me in terms of lens type and sun protection. Very useful. Other staff acted as support judges giving thumbs up or down to each frame tried! Where else would you get such incredible service!? The superbly kind Caroline went the extra mile, well in fact several miles(!), to actually deliver my 3 new pairs of glasses to my home at 7.15pm. Unbelievable when she has a family, and a life to live! Thanks once again all. I highly recommend this opticians. How could you go anywhere else?! 11.09.20

Just to say I have been a customer for over 30 years. Totally satisfied for the whole time. No better for service, skill, perfect staff and excellent advice. I can't recommend highly enough.
