After expressing my interest in a car they had for sale I was told that they would be open from 10am the following day so that I could view it. On arrival the next day at 10am sharp there was not a soul to be seen. Assuming that they were just running late that morning for whatever reason I decided to wait. An hour and a half later I rung the number listed at their reception and was very unapologetically told that they would be another 25 minutes at least before they would arrive to open up. What kind of business opens 2 hours late? And expects customers to wait that long? Its an absolute joke. More so, on closer inspection of the vehicle it was quite apparent that it had previously been involved in a collision - something not mentioned anywhere in the advertisement. Feel like I dodged a bullet really. Definitely wouldnt recommend buying a car from here.

My friend bought a car from this place and took it to an independent garage and ended up costing him another £650.00. When he spoke to the owner of the garage he said if I'd of known you'd have been going to Lancashire car sales I would have advised you against it I've had 10 to 15 cars from that place all needing lots of work doing. Do not buy a car from these con men

The rouge car dealer sold me a faulty KIA 59 car, which l paid cash for. He was very friendly and attentive and gave us assurances that if anything was wrong with the car, he would fix it. He gave us a 3 months warranty. About Two months into driving the car, the ABS lights showed up on the engine management dashboard. My partner and I took it to a garage who discovered that the ABS sensor cable was cut and had been tapped round instead of being replaced altogether. The implication of this is that the braking system will start to malfunction, making it difficult to break on time causing loss of control of the car and wheel locking. This is also coming on top of a welded exhaust pipes and the boot that won't open. We took the car back to him but he denied responsibility for selling a faulty car in the first place and refused to repair what was damaged. We are reporting him to consumer rights and the motoring ombudsman.

I phoned to look at a car they had. Millage was low and the price was right. When I looked at the car I had to walk away. The arches had rust which continued up the wing. The bumper didn't line up right which would suggest a front end impact. This wasn't advertised with the damage. The owner said he had three people looking at the vehicle yet the car was buried behind other cars indicating it hadn't moved. The advert also suggested 1 owner from new. However the vehicle had Arnold Clark plates on. From experience and knowledge Arnold Clark cannot sell new VWs which would Indicate more than one owners. The wings are annadised which don't rust with treatment so it must have had new aftermarket wings. Absolutely outraged with the experience to the point which I couldn't even speak to the owner of the company. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Lancashire Car Sales have a new owner and I cannot fault him. Superb car. Good price and over a minor issue he supported me and rectified and even compensated me. Ignore the old reviews buy with confidence. Great experience and again a trustworthy seller. Bought a Vauxhall Insignia.
