It used to be the best practice, we chose to go to this one, even if it wasn't the closest to our place, but when good doctors left, it's an absolute joke. They tell you to ring at 8 a.m., then the line is engaged till 8.45, and just hung up immediately, and when you finally manage to speak to someone, there's no appointments left. New doctors have one advise - give it another 3-5 days and we'll see how it goes! Doesn't matter if it's about adult or child, been told to ring back when we'll have difficulty with breathing. The best thing with the practice is nurses team, these ladies are outstanding.

I have been a patient with St George's surgery since 1995. Not one negative experience, always helpful and supportive. This includes the manager, receptionist, Dr's, nurse practitioners, nurses & clinic staff. Sad to hear my GP will be retiring soon, but wish her the best of health and happiness. The Dr's at this surgery, build a rapport and get to know the person as opposed to just treating the patient. Incredible team.

Spent 25 minutes on hold trying to get a prescription. Then they take 2 days just to send a prescription to the pharmacy and yet my old doctors did it the same day. The receptionists are extremely rude and make you feel extremely uncomfortable. I am now leaving the practice as they ruin the experience which is a shame as the doctors themselves are nice.

Overall a good surgery, doctors and nurses very friendly only one disappointment when ringing up for either an appointment or prescription the line is either always busy and can take up to 8 or 9 times throughout the day for them to answer.

Well what can I say. The doctors are absolutely fantastic. Dr Rosbottom and Dr Almond are very kind and friendly, always treat you with respect. Dr Salim is kind, compassionate and caring and always gives you the time to discuss your issues and goes out of his way to help you, a credit to his profession. Dr Akram is compassionate, helpful and bubbly. He greets you with a smile which gives you a good feeling straight away. Truly remarkable team of doctors each of them unique in their own way but you get the feeling they actually want to help you and that you are not just another patient on their very busy day. Julie from reception is very bubbly and creates rapport with you making you feel better even before you have seen the doctor. Nurse Julie is remarkable always trying her best and going above and beyond, after my mother sees her she gets the feeling of happiness and joy and doesn't get the feeling she has visited the doctors which is great. On the passing of my late father Dr Salim called to to offer his condolences which blew us all away, the empathy and compassion he showed us really touched us.
