Lived in Dorset for 10+ years and found this store very well stocked and conveniently located with a large car park. Close to Poole town centre next to the Sainsbury’s it is easy to find with easy access. Never had any problems with service, staff or choice of products. I very rarely use online ordering but on one occasion it was just fine. If use use their membership card then you can get a discounted price. Sometimes there are very good reductions on one off items too. Other negative reviews here are from people with very few reviews. Some just reviewing this place alone. I suggest you use your own judgement in who you trust and believe.

Had an issue with a jacket that had a manufacturer lifetime guarantee, spoke with the company and they advised to take it back to the shop where I purchased it. I stopped by when passing without the jacket and was told by a junior sales assistant that it should be no problem. Went back later that day with the jacket to be told by a different, less helpful assistant that they would not do anything. They brought the Manager along who was standing in from another store. He listened and explained store Vs manufacturer policy and my best option would be to go back to them as I was beyond the 1 year store exchange policy. Having again listened to my issues and my conversation with the manufacturer he went above and beyond my expectations and offered that I went and choose a replacement of the same or higher value. My faith in customer service and humanity in general restored, I left the store a happy guy. Manager, standing in at Poole, if you are reading this, thanks again.

Placed a order with them online. Never received any notification that order had been processed. Then items got delivered on separate days. One item was missing so got in contact with customer services. Completed the forms as requested but still have had no response. Told form as been passed to the claims department for processing and will take up to ten days to process. That was two months ago. Email customer service get an apology and told it’s passed on to the claims department. Then told they did not receive the form? Also customer service can not address me by the correct name. Will not use the online ordering again as they you don’t know if you will receive the order or not.

Ordered a jetboil cooker and accidently put the wrong address, so I called 5 minutes after the order to cancel. They were unable to do this simple request. In the next 2 days I called 5 times to try cancel which they couldn't do. I was told on the phone that this was my fault and would get no compensation, would have to "contact a third party" and passed all the blame onto parcel force. This parcel has been left over 100 miles from my home address on the porch where it will inevitably get stolen. I'd advice shopping with Trek kit, a smaller company who managed to send me the same cooker cheaper and quicker with no issues. As a volunteer Scout leader I will be advising all Scouts not to shop there and spend their money elsewhere.
