Ok service. When purchasing a second hand Clio from Hendy Renault back in August I was paired with a salesman who deemed himself 'too good' to be a salesman. Fortunately for him, I knew which car I wanted and therefore he needed to spend as little time interacting with myself and my mother. Although I am now satisfied with my car, I am rather disappointed with the service that I received. As I was familiar with another salesman who works for Hendy Renault, I expected the standard of employee to be high. But, to my shock, the salesman that looked after the purchase did very little. On pick up day, I had been promised a full tank of petrol and a small paint repair that was on the wing mirror. When arriving at 4pm neither had been done and I was presented with two small paint pots in which the gentleman suggested I should apply to the damaged area. He then suggested that he would drive me to the petrol station in order to fill the car with fuel. This was slightly uncomfortable and awkward as this man had not been overly friendly with us since the beginning. When purchasing a new car you expect to be shown how to use all the gadgets inside and shown where all the controls are, none of this was shown to myself and therefore for the first few weeks of driving I was left a bit clueless on what all the buttons meant. Although I cannot slate Hendy Renault as a whole, I believe that this particular salesman needs to be told how to make a paying customer welcome. If this review was based on the salesman alone it would be 1 star.

The most professional service I have experienced recently, including after sales follow up. The most impressive was that whatever we have agreed verbally has been executed during the final stage.
