We ordered and some days later we collected a large crate for our forthcoming dog at the store in Bracknell. We were very pleased with pets at home customer service that’s why we did a 5 review star. However, as we opened the crate the plastic plate was broken. We called at the store and they advised us to return the create (altogether- not only the plastic base), Then, they would check the default and would come back to us when ready for refund (not sure though). As you understand that was not possible to be done as our dog had already arrived from the shelter and could not stay at home without a crate. We sadly kept the broken plate though it was not out fault due to lack of efficiency in their customer support.

My grandson loved the hamsters there But the kitty kibble I went in for wasn't there. I bought a different one. Hope the cat likes it. Service excellent as usual.

The staff is incredibly helpful and will recommend you products suiting your pet needs even if that mean taking a cheaper product. For this reason, I never buy anywhere else. A big thank for the kindness of the lad with long hair and beard, he is always nice and joyful.

totally incompetent staff. i bought there a fish tank for 120 pounds and other stuff. after several days i found out by accident that the price of the fish tank on the receipt was 150 pounds. i also did not understand the instructions so i came back. i showed the receipt to the staff in front, told them that the discounted price tag was inside the show fish tank and demanded 30 pounds back. however, the manager asked for a photo of the discounted price tag. who takes such photos, jesus?? of course, i did not have it. then the manager wanted me to bring the box with the discounted price sticker. i told her i got a new box, no price sticker on it. ( the manager does not know how they sell fish tanks??) . so she told me that she had to search all last purchases ( i could not understand for what, i never met with such methods) of all their customers from last days , and that it would take long time so she told me to go home to wait there and they would call me and they asked me to give them my full name and phone number. i considered this such a stupidity, i demanded them to let me inside the shop to check whether the discounted price tag was still inside the show fish tank ( they had asked me to stay near the entrance). they finally allowed, i checked the tag, it was still there!! such a stupid manager! she should have known this! so they spent another three minutes by examining their discounted price tag...it was such an absurd comedy...i told them to show me how to assemble the fish tank with all that stuff and i showed them the original instructions. they could not understand the instructions themselves. they did not have any assembled fish tank to show me. they asked me to bring the tank and all stuff back the following day and another assistant would do it. i told them all stuff were scattered all over my table, it was not convenient for me...so they told me to browse youtube ...so i tried to assemble it myself when i found out they had sold me an incompatible heater! while the heater couldnot be in a vertical position, only in diagonal, the aquarium has a chamber just for vertical heater! i dont know whether the heater will work correctly if i place it in the widest chamber not with the biggest water flow ( the heater requires the strongest flow). but what i know for 100% is that the staff will have no clue. i will not buy anything anymore in that place.

We recently got a puppy and have been in pets at home several times recently for provisions and equipment, such a harness etc. We have had lovely service every time. Really helpful advice and help fitting a new harness to fit our puppy perfectly. Thank you very much for all your help.
