Probably the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had, and the large chips very good price and also very very nice:) the service is also amazing. Might come back just for the hot chocolate and not even the beach.

Incredibly slow, 20 minutes for sausage and chips with only a few customers in front of me. Staff were snappy and rude when I chased the food after 15 minutes or so. When it finally arrived, the chips were tasteless and the sausage was mostly fried sawdust - even the dog wouldn't eat it! Don't bother going here, the beach cafe at the heritage centre is a much better option.

They do really great burgers, but don't expect to get one in the afternoon. Been caught out by this before, so I specifically asked them what time they were stopping cooking them that day. They told me '4:30', so when I went to order at 3:45, very very disappointed to be told, 'the griddle had been turned off, no burgers - chips only'. This is also despite the menu still being out advertising the full range. With a long drive home, I'd rather eat a proper burger on the beach than a plastic one in a services. So frustrating, so they won't be getting any of my business in future.

The setting is lovely right on the beach. However the food is really forgettable and over priced. I had cod and chips which tasted straight from the freezer. Also, they use polystyrene trays and no recycling bins! There’s so many sustainable packaging options now, and so easy to recycle that it’s a shame. Wouldn’t recommend unless there’s no where else open.

Perfect, sit by the beach, eat a bacon sandwich, drink a cappuccino, then go fossil hunting...
