Lovely meal steak was excellent very welcoming and well trained staff. Unfortunately only downside was, constant barking of a dog my husband went out to our car at 2.30 in the morning but it was not our dog, it was a dog in a shed. We decided that my husband would go home at 2.45 as we would never get any sleep as he was travelling to Minehead today. The barking must have been heard in where Elizabeth lives and we would have thought somebody would have come to check, I did say all this to receptionist this morning.

I had booked an accessible room as I am in a wheelchair. The room itself was ok, although a little tired looking. As soon as you get into the room, there is the obstruction of a chair in front of a dressing table. The chair had to be moved so the wheelchair could get into the room. A narrow gap between the bed and bathroom door, however, enough to get the wheelchair through. The bathroom door hits the bed when open making it impossible to get the wheelchair in. It’s a good size bathroom. Again, a little tired and could benefit from a few more grab rails in the shower area as I had nothing to hold onto when standing. The grab rail that is on the wall in the shower is too low to provide any support. The bed is uncomfortable and we both woke with backache. Fortunately there was a fan provided, otherwise I think I would have melted in the heat. With all that said, the warm welcome can’t be faulted or the friendliness of the staff. They were attentive and we had a pleasant meal in the restaurant. Despite all the accessibility negatives, I managed and overall our stay was a good one.

Great little spa hotel in a lovely rural area of West Wales. Deliciuos evening meals and afternoon tea available. Fabulous place for a weekend escape, and also a good family venue. Llety Cynin is set on a working farm and has a large kids outdoor play area and a small football pitch.

Was so exited to have got a room here, however price was 2 x the cost of other 4 * hotels we had booked on our trip so the expectation was high. Especially as the one in Angelsey was just awesome, beautiful room and very good food, in addition the service was brilliant. High expectations coming to Llety Cynin. Check in , 10 min to five , told to check in after 4pm. Kept waiting to see if the room was ready for 10 min... as the receptionist not sure. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome, no smile and and very much feel that we are bothering. Had dinner here and was so disappointed in the food quality / quantity vs price ratio. We hoped breakfast would be out of this world as all are real breakfast lovers. Sadly no...full breakfast with tomato that had not seen grill and sausages that were leathery, coupled with jams in plastic single portion servings. The juice was not fresh but long life ,even the waitress did not know this. Service was haphazard at best and we were so deflated. Had such high hopes. The sleep was good, but we had to sleep with windows open , the issues was not smell which was quite pungent but all the bugs that were eating us at night. No ac. No fan even offered and it was 30+ c . I would expect such attention to detail in 4*. No mini fridge in room either. We found it very odd that most of time the receptionists avoided any kind of contact or smile or casual hello. In small establishment its vitally important to have great service, great team, great food and little attention to detail that makes you stand out. Coming to empty breakfast hall, not set up invitingly vs breakfast tables already kitted out with cutlery, jams and flowers from farm would make huge difference. We came to empty room with no atmosphere. Second breakfast was better as we firmly ordered how we wanted the breakfast, much to the waitresses distaste as every amended on the breakfast was replied with "I need to check with chefs ' well the chef did great job and we let her know too. We only got acknowledgement from Elisabeth 2 x during 2 days, no other staff made a point even of casual conversation. It's a shame as place has much potential but it cannot compete with memorable teams and places if it keeps being unmemorable. The pool is lovely, room was spacious and clean, but really based on the above I think it's very overpriced and underwhelming experience.

We had a lovely few days here. Our room was number 11 with a of the farmyard to the side and the valley from the other side. The food and facilities were great and we will be back
